Welcome to the Wakefield 250th website where you will find updates throughout 2024 as our town celebrates its 250th birthday. Thanks to the 250th planning committee, we have many events being coordinated and everyone is invited and encouraged to join the celebration.
Restaurant Weeks
We have connected with local restaurants to each have their own restaurant week in 2024. Each will have a week where they can celebrate Wakefield.
Everyone is encouraged to enjoy a meal or drink at each local restaurant during their scheduled week. Keep an eye out for any specials they decide to run although it is not mandatory they do. Remember to support local businesses in 2024.

Birch Blaze will be documenting the 250th Birthday of our town. Kerry Struble will be creating a photo book that will be offered for sale in 2025.
